Currency Converter is built to do one job without knowing who you are. There is no sign-up or sign-in, and we do not collect, sell or share your personal information.

In short

• No account, no sign-in, no name or email needed to use the app.
• No analytics or advertising tools in the app.
• No tracking across other apps or websites.
• Your settings and saved rates stay on your iPhone.

What stays on your iPhone

Your favourite currencies, their order, your base currency, decimal settings and the saved exchange rates are stored only on your device. We cannot see them. Deleting the app removes them.

Exchange rate updates

To download the latest rates, the app requests them from an exchange-rate server. Like any internet request, this includes your device's IP address, which the server may log briefly for security and reliability. The request contains no personal information about you, and we do not use it to identify or track you.

Purchases

Converter Pro is purchased through Apple. Apple handles your payment details; we never receive your name, email, card number or Apple Account details. The app only checks with Apple whether your subscription or purchase is active. Apple's handling of your data is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Diagnostics

If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. You can turn this off at any time in Settings, Privacy & Security, Analytics & Improvements.

Tracking and advertising

The app contains no advertising and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

This website

currency-converter-rates.com does not use cookies or advertising. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits. It is cookieless and does not identify you: it records anonymous, aggregated data such as pages viewed, referring site, country, browser and device type. Like most websites, our hosting provider may also keep short-lived server logs, including IP addresses, to keep the site secure and running.

Emailing us

If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you. We keep support emails for as long as needed to help you, then delete them.

Children

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR (EU and UK) and the CCPA (California) give you rights to access, correct or delete your personal data. Because we do not hold personal data about you, there is usually nothing to access or delete. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence removed, just ask.

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
